3 years ago, I went to a dermatology clinic because I was bothered by a mole on my face and got it removed. After the consultation, they explained that it would be removed with a laser, and I went ahead right away. They applied numbing cream and then did the procedure. When the laser removed the mole, it stung a little, but it wasn’t very painful. The procedure itself was simpler than I expected and finished quickly. Afterward, the spot where the mole had been was left red like a small wound, and they put on regenerative tape. I was told to be careful not to let it get wet and to keep the regenerative tape on properly. After a few days a scab formed, and as it naturally came off, the area where the mole had been gradually faded. It was a raised mole, so I had the procedure twice. It had bothered me for a long time, but once I actually had it done, it was simpler than I expected and recovery was fine, so I was satisfied. If you’re worried about a mole, I think it would be worth getting a dermatology consultation. But the staff did push sales a bit.
