Since it's a famous, long-established hospital near my house, I just had a consultation and booked a date right away. I said I wanted canthoplasty, but he said that wasn't the important thing right now and that eye-correction surgery was urgent, and he even scolded me. Since he's an old doctor, I guess... It was under local anesthesia, but it was really painfully, painfully awful. I'm not exaggerating, it hurt so, so much.. Even though the line was thin, the swelling lasted for almost over a year. One side was undercorrected, so I had that side cut open again. It was local anesthesia again, and I thought I was going to die. I will never do local anesthesia again.. The result of the revision was basically the same, just prolonging the pain and swelling. The saying that double eyelid surgery depends on the person is true, because many people did well here. Why me..
