I went for a consultation because I was worried about nasolabial folds. Other places all said there would be no effect and that surgery was unnecessary, but here they said it would still improve, so I got the surgery. On the day of surgery, they suddenly said they would remove the filler I had in my nasolabial folds and charged a high additional fee. If I had done it at another hospital it would have been half the price, but if they say that on the day of surgery, of course you end up paying - what are they doing? Why didn't they tell me during the consultation? I was annoyed, but since I had to have the surgery right away, they told me to pay quickly, so I did (even though I had mentioned the nasolabial filler during the consultation, they said a dissolving injection wasn't needed, then brought it up only on the day of surgery - what kind of conscience is that?). As for the result, I'm not sure the nasolabial area improved much... I realized that no matter what you do, you can't get rid of nasolabial folds. They kindly treat the scar from the incision site, but the raised scar tissue is still the same even after a year, and the incision area feels lumpy when touched. My sideburns are gone.
