First of all, the consultation atmosphere was more comfortable than I expected. I was worried that going to a plastic surgery clinic would feel burdensome and that they’d try to push all sorts of things on us, but it wasn’t like that at all. They looked at my mom’s eye condition in detail first and explained why the under-eye area looked protruded, and I liked that they explained it in a way that was easy to understand. They said the fat is a bit protruded, so simple management has its limits and that under-eye fat removal would be the more appropriate case. They also explained the surgery method and recovery process in quite a lot of detail, and the recovery period was not as long as I had thought, which was a bit reassuring. They said bruising and swelling vary by person, but usually normal daily life is possible fairly quickly, so that answered what I had been wondering about. Overall, it didn’t feel rushed, and whenever I had questions they answered everything, so I was pretty satisfied.
