The doctor gives off a somewhat cynical vibe? But it seems like he's definitely firm about professionalism and safety. He clearly says no if something can't be done and yes if it can, and even if the patient wants it, I don't think he'd do it if he felt it wasn't right. He seems to pursue a natural line.
