Facial Contouring review at Akeu (아크) · 2026-03-13

Consultation fee is 40,000 won. I waited about 15 minutes, then went for the CT scan and had it taken 3 times? There were quite a few different machines, which was interesting. The same person also took the camera photos. Most of the consultation was done by the doctor, and the manager only handled price adjustments and surgery recommendations. For double eyelid surgery, they use sedation anesthesia, and I wanted a semi-out line, but they said there isn't much fat above the eyes, so the desired line might not come out. They suggested considering fat grafting too (uh...?). They seem to set the line quite low. They recommended epicanthoplasty, and I agreed that canthoplasty was also a good idea. For contouring, it would of course be general anesthesia. Looking at the CT together, they said there was a slight underdeveloped chin, but that it didn't have to be done if I didn't want it. Still, they said if I went for consultations at other hospitals, I'd probably be recommended chin tip surgery (correct). Then suddenly they said I don't have much muscle and actually have more subcutaneous fat than expected, so they recommended liposuction. Huh??? On the CT it was within the normal range...? Isn't 6 to 7 cm normal...? But I didn't show it and just went, oh, I see~. I guess it was like, if you want a dramatic effect, do a bit more of this too. If I posted three reviews, they discounted almost 40% off the original price. There definitely seems to be a price advantage? But since I'm a case doing both double eyelids and contouring, they said that when posting reviews I could only cover my nose and mouth... That's basically showing my whole face I didn't get surgery, but I think it's worth going for a consultation once. It's kind of fun to experience the expected limits of what kind of surgery my face can get ㄱㄱ
