The director seems to be the real power behind this hospital, ranking above the doctor. I came after a consultation for male rhinoplasty with Gaam, and the consultation with the doctor was satisfying because he had clear opinions and explained the direction precisely, but the consultant was really strange. She just kept repeating the doctor's line like, "We pursue naturalness," and when I asked two questions: 1. Is there a reason there is only one photo of a man in the review photos? 2. What did the doctor's question about whether I am aiming for broadcasting or entertainment mean? (I was curious whether there is a difference between surgery for ordinary people and for them) she answered like this: "A doctor who is good at women’s noses would not be bad at men’s noses, and I don't understand why you're asking about question 2. It seems like our hospital may not be a good fit for you." I was asking the consultant about things I couldn't ask the doctor, so if that's the case, what am I supposed to ask? The conversation kept getting worse and then ended. After that, I called to book a surgery date, and they said they would refuse the reservation. She said that she is the only consultant at the hospital and that she is like family to the hospital, and if my direction doesn't match hers then the surgery review will inevitably be bad. So I told them not to make a unilateral judgment and just notify me; I would understand if the doctor said he wouldn't do the surgery. That ended the call, but I don't understand it. It was my first time seeing a director blacklist someone even though the doctor himself wasn't the one doing it, and I didn't say anything bad to the consultant at all, yet she used her own insecurity to send away a patient who was trying to book surgery behind the doctor's back.
