There’s no anesthesia for calf Botox, and they inject it without making it hurt. After a few injections, I think I developed resistance. There was no separate consultation with the doctor; when I sat down to get the procedure, they came in, told me to stand on tiptoe, marked things quickly, and then injected it right away. There wasn’t anything especially uncomfortable.
