I had the surgery using a septal support method. From the start, I never planned to make my nose that much higher anyway, and I just wanted to reduce the hump a little and raise the columella angle, so I went ahead with it. The doctor suggested and counseled me in exactly the direction I wanted, so I trusted them and went through with it.
