The clinic has a very classic feel.. I went after looking at the doctor’s blog, and he seems to have both expertise and a very clear sense of direction.. He seems to prefer non-destructive methods, and he seemed to like results that are natural and don’t look obviously surgical, There’s a bit of an authoritarian vibe, but he wasn’t unfriendly, and he explained things in detail while doing Photoshop. He said if I have questions later, I can ask and he’ll answer them. My main complaint is that my goal is to improve the front view, but the doctor recommended a closed approach with only silicone and ear cartilage, which seemed like it would just increase height, so I was disappointed (the cost was almost half..). The doctor said he recommends this method, and in blog reviews I saw a similar case where someone did this method and the front view improved a little, but I hate the upturned nose look, so I felt the result might not be satisfying. Second, when it comes to using autologous costal cartilage, the cost is more expensive than I expected, and the doctor also said the surgery method is too complicated, so he did not recommend it. It seems like he wants to solve things with the minimum necessary, non-destructive method.. Even during the doctor’s consultation, he recommended a method different from what I wanted, and the consultation manager kept smiling in a way that made me feel bad the whole time, so I didn’t really feel like continuing the consultation. I did like that they gave me a memo sheet with the estimate neatly organized.
