The director measured my skin thickness with ultrasound during the consultation and explained everything calmly and in detail. However, they recommended a subfascial method that none of the other directors had ever recommended. They said the dual-plane method inevitably causes animation deformity. As far as I know, animation happens when the muscle isn’t fully cut depending on the surgical skill, but when I heard them say it must happen no matter what, and saw them pushing subfascial, I wondered if they maybe weren’t that confident...? Also, maybe they thought I wouldn’t have surgery, but the manager kept cutting me off and speaking while sighing. It just felt like, “hurry up and go.” Their attitude also made me think that if something went wrong, they’d probably say different things before and after, so I decided this wasn’t the place and passed.
