Back when I was in first year of middle school, when Director Kim Chang-yun was at Leart, I had every kind of eye surgery possible: medial canthoplasty, lateral canthoplasty, lower canthoplasty, upper canthoplasty, buried sutures, and eye correction. The buried sutures and eye correction turned out very well, and I’m satisfied with them. The lower, outer, and upper canthoplasty all came out very well too. I had them done so young that they just feel like mine now. But the medial canthoplasty still bothers me sometimes because the shape on both sides is a little different… At this point, it’s been so long since I had it done that there’s no visible sign of surgery at all, so it looks like my original eye shape was different from the start… Still, one side is a little bluntly widened, which makes someone like me, who strongly prefers the most natural look possible, stand at a crossroads of worry… I worry that if I touch my slightly different-looking original eyes again, I might not succeed, or that I might hate the fact that my original inner eye shape was a little different in the first place… I think a pointed medial canthoplasty with the hook extending downward is natural and makes the eyes look like your own, and pretty. That’s what I think.
