I went to get a consultation for recession surgery because I had side effects from eye correction, and they told me exactly what the problem was and where it was overcorrected. They were kind and pointed out the issues with me while looking in the mirror, and the consultation lasted about an hour? It was good. They only released the eye-correction thread, so the overcorrection itself remained. They said that when doing recession surgery, it's hard to decide how much is appropriate for each person. I was glad they spoke honestly, and I was really fed up with plastic surgery because of the side effects, but after going to the consultation I felt better. They said the surgery needs 6 months of follow-up.. I recommend that anyone who had side effects from eye correction at least go for a consultation once if they have the time
