Speaking from my personal experience, one side did not feel much different from before surgery, and the scar is still bothering me. (1 month postop) During the consultation, it felt like they explained the general surgical method more than explaining according to my individual eye condition. That said, when I asked questions several times or mentioned pain, there were times when the atmosphere felt burdensome, maybe because I seemed sensitive. The nurses were generally kind, but from after the consultation onward, the front desk response felt stiff. When I was lying down being disinfected around my eyes, I could hear noise from the operating room next door, which was somewhat uncomfortable.
