First of all, I had a congenital nevus removed, and I was left with a scar + a slightly recurrent area + a dog ear. I went around a lot, including university hospitals, and I think I visited about 6 places. This place was heavily booked, and even though it’s been deleted now, I was actually very worried after seeing a worse case on a blog (it was a skin condition issue, of course). Anyway, this was the only place that recommended artificial dermis. They said that if it was inserted, it could rise up in a square shape just like dermis. I was really upset, but somewhere else said the skin would stretch and be fine, so I did it there instead, and it’s been completely fine. If I had had dermis inserted here, it would have been horrible.
