에이치 — Review

This is a plastic surgery clinic run by a director who is famous on YouTube. I was also thinking about surgery for a recessed chin, and while looking through YouTube I found out about them. I got a CT scan, had a non-face-to-face consultation, and even did online Q&A, and they answered everything even though I asked all sorts of questions. So personally, I was satisfied with the consultation itself. One thing I still keep thinking about regarding recessed-chin surgery is that I still can't tell whether a PMMA implant or a genioplasty is more suitable for me. Although genioplasty has become widely established as a successful surgery and is performed often, this clinic seems to avoid the idea of a pointed chin caused by genioplasty. In other words, they argue that an implant should be used to create a natural line. So they even directly pointed out a pointed chin caused by genioplasty and showed the process of revising a patient who had undergone genioplasty with an implant, and from my perspective that process also looked fine. But there are also other clinics that are against implants. They argue that implants carry a risk of inflammation and that implants can actually look unnatural, and they even post genioplasty cases directly on their blog. So I looked at those genioplasty photos too, and they also seemed fine. In the end, from my point of view, I have to conclude that both implants and genioplasty can be right, but I wonder why the two sides are opposing each other. (I'm not directly calling anyone out, but anyone who has casually read the blog posts would know they are rebutting each other's claims..) There may be details I couldn't catch from the photos, or one side may be misleading by showing only the good results. In the end, if it's not someone's direct review, I think I would never know which method is more correct unless I try it myself. (Maybe both could be right without much difference.)
