I heard the director is a clinical professor at Asan Medical Center, so he even writes textbooks and is extremely professional. The hospital overall feels rather plain, but that makes the director’s expertise stand out even more. In the waiting room there are also press clipping binders and a booklet called a "textbook" that explains gynecomastia surgery in detail. He speaks with a lot of pride and confidence about his latest techniques, as if saying that a clinic that makes you wear compression garments or removes stitches is not run by a board-certified plastic surgeon. If we’re talking purely about skill, I expected this would be the best clinic I’d visited so far. But it’s a small clinic, so surgery is done in an operating room, not a surgical suite, and apparently there’s no CCTV. And the decisive reason I didn’t choose Silhouette was that they were extremely passive about aftercare and insurance. When I asked about revision surgery if something went wrong, he would emphasize his confidence in his skill, but he wouldn’t actually answer what would happen if such a case occurred. He also gave vague answers about insurance and seemed to draw the line rather casually.. No matter how skilled someone is, people aren’t perfect and there is always a chance, however small, so personally I found it hard to trust my body to them.
