I had nose surgery in 2010. At the time, a friend introduced me to someone who was a stylist? from a TV station, so I went there. Since I had no surgery experience, I couldn’t properly say what kind of nose I wanted during the consultation, and I think I just left it to the director. The clinic seemed old even back then, and there was only one male director. During the surgery, he asked whether I wanted it to be very noticeable or natural, and I said natural. My original nose wasn’t especially high or low, and it was small, with small nostrils and a fairly typical shape, so I didn’t think it was a difficult nose to operate on. After resting at home and not moving around for a week, the nose surgery recovered quickly. There was some swelling, but I lived daily life comfortably enough that it didn’t feel like I had surgery at all. I can’t remember the consultation fee clearly because it was so long ago, but I remember having both the bridge and the tip done, and the tip was done with ear cartilage. At that time ear cartilage was commonly used. Around the 2-week mark, I had a day when I kept my head bent forward for a long time, and the tip of my nose got slightly red. Even after that, it would get a bit red if irritated. There was no pain or major side effects, but I didn’t really know much back then and just let time pass. As time went on, I started feeling like the implant on the bridge was a little crooked toward the end? Very slightly, in a way only I would notice. Also, because I had gotten nasal filler before the surgery, they couldn’t scrape it all out, and maybe because of that, on days when my skin is sensitive the tip of my nose sometimes gets a bit red. Right now I’m moderately satisfied, but I didn’t want it to be made much higher anyway, so I’m not thinking about revision surgery. What I think now is that nose surgery has so many side effects, so I don’t plan to get revision surgery anywhere for cosmetic reasons.
