I went for a consultation because I was concerned about my bulbous nose and short columella for my first rhinoplasty. The doctor said it would become longer if the columella were extended, so it could not be done. The doctor seemed very firm about his own preferences and principles, and I felt that even if I explained what I wanted, it would not be reflected. He drew on a printed sheet and then said, “There’s nothing else to ask, right? Shall we go?” before leaving. It wasn’t exactly that he was unfriendly; he just seemed naturally blunt and reserved. I don’t think he lacks skill, but he spoke very decisively according to his own views before I could even ask questions, giving the impression that anything different would not be possible. I felt I wouldn’t be able to object even if I disliked the result. The consultant was very pretty and kind ^^. Communication with the doctor is most important to me, so I probably won’t have it done here.
