I got a consultation with the chief doctor, and although he explained things briefly and clearly, for some reason I couldn't see much professionalism in the consultation, so I hesitated. He did seem confident enough that I could trust him with surgery based on his reputation. For scars, he said laser treatment wouldn't help much and that removal surgery would be better.
