I went in for a double-eyelid consultation. It was early in the morning, so there was nobody there, and after waiting a bit I went straight into the consultation room. After greeting them and sitting down, I barely said anything, just that I came for double-eyelid surgery and that it seemed like I lacked the strength to open my eyes. The director looked closely at my eyes, and I was just looking back at the director's eyes without thinking much. But suddenly they got annoyed and told me to look somewhere else. I had been to several other clinics for consultations, but it was the first doctor like that. I was so flustered, and later in the consultation they said that if I had surgery, my mucous membrane might show, so I had never heard that before and wondered how they could tell that just by looking...
