After lower blepharoplasty, the fat under my eyes was removed too much, so I had a second procedure with eye-orbit fat grafting. I was very worried about nerve damage, but thankfully it ended well without any major side effects. The result felt like only about 10 percent of the fat took. The black eyeball that had been dropping downward came back up, the eye area got just a little longer, and the pain from the eye getting caught improved. The belly where they took the fat from stayed bruised for over a month. My eyes also felt like a frog for a month after the first procedure, and the second time it was a bit less. I think it was the right thing to do. The horizontal length keeps shrinking as the fat gets absorbed, which is disappointing …
