(I had surgery 5 years ago) I went to a place recommended by an acquaintance and booked surgery on the same day, then had the operation three days later. I knew nothing about ptosis correction or ptosis, so I went in thinking that because my eyelids were drooping, it must be ptosis. But after the consultation, they told me it wasn't ptosis: I had the strength to open my eyes, but the skin was sagging too much to support it and lift it, so I was opening them with my forehead. So they said I didn't need ptosis correction, and that double eyelids would help support the strength to open my eyes. Thanks to that, I avoided ptosis correction, which has a big effect but also many side effects. Since the skin on my eyes keeps sagging, they said it would be better to make the double-eyelid thickness somewhat larger and do an incision method, but I stubbornly insisted that I wanted the most natural look possible, so I kept the line as low as possible, just enough to make it less saggy. Most things were fine, but in the end the outer corner was closed off (I regret it. It wasn't the hospital's fault, it was my choice! Why did I even do it and make it end in that D-shape?) The left double eyelid is fine, but maybe the right side fixation was a bit weak, so the sagging eventually became like a multiple-fold eyelid? and I'm planning to get revision surgery somewhere else. I know they did a few celebrities there, and it doesn't seem bad. The director is the only doctor there, too.
