I had double eyelid surgery 4 years ago. They said the two eyes had different opening strength, so they made the crease higher on the side with weaker opening strength. Even after several months and after a year, the asymmetry between the two eyes did not improve. Of course, even now, 4 years later, the asymmetry is severe.
