This is the hospital and director where I had my first buried-suture surgery 5 years ago. I went there before they moved to their current location. Now it feels much bigger and much more like a factory. At first I was just researching through a cafe and was about to consult with Siwoo, but I made a reservation because I heard Dr. Siwoo had moved here. At the last minute I heard black comments, so I switched to the assigned director. I also liked the name of the Twinkle surgical method, lol. It was my first surgery and I was young. I’m somewhat confident in reading people’s faces and vibes, so I liked that the consultation didn’t feel overly confident or arrogant, but rather had a human touch. I had Twinkle (buried-suture) plus epicanthoplasty and lateral canthoplasty, but the right side where I had the epicanthoplasty felt like it also became an upper canthoplasty. Personally, I don’t like upper canthoplasty eyes very much, and it feels like they turn into hooks when I smile, so I endured it for 2 years and eventually had it reversed. But the left eye’s epicanthoplasty was really perfect. If only the right side had been the same The people around me said it was fine, but I couldn’t stand it because of my own greed. Looking back now, it probably would have been fine to just live with it. I just disliked the eyes that became upper-canthoplasty-looking; my eyes were probably much bigger and prettier than they are now after reversal..... The lateral canthoplasty didn’t turn out as much as I expected and looked like it had stuck back together, so when I mentioned it they just did a revision surgery for me (within 2 months, I think). Five years later, there is no scar now, but a plastic surgeon can tell? and ordinary people can’t. To me it feels smaller than before, but they say it isn’t. Now I only get occasional itching. After that, I had reversal surgery at another hospital and the buried sutures came loose, so I got buried sutures again. My younger sibling also got it there based on my recommendation. Five years later, after visiting more than 20 clinics, exhausting myself chatting and sending messages to gather information, this is my review. After my epicanthoplasty reversal, I went for another consultation and the head doctor was still there, with an upgraded feeling. Since I was a patient from 5 years ago, he looked busy, but he treated me with genuinely great respect and care. I’m not sure if he’s a board-certified specialist. Looking at the reviews, it seems there are many saying the stitches came loose. Because of allergies my eyes still swell up sometimes, but so far mine are fine. Instead, because of swelling the line has weakened, so I’m looking into revision surgery to make it more dramatic. Back then I was young and really wanted it to be super natural, so I asked for that again. I’m leaving this detailed review because I really got a lot of information from the reviews here and was grateful. If you want a cheap, truly natural buried-suture result, I recommend it.
