In the nose surgery consultation, they explained things with overall balance in mind. For the tip, they recommended a method that uses only your own septal cartilage instead of an artificial implant to raise it naturally. For the bridge, they said a silicone implant would be appropriate to keep the shape stable. They said this could reduce an artificial look while still creating a sharper impression. They also said the alar base could look slightly wide, so alar reduction surgery was also recommended, but considering my current facial proportions, I decided not to proceed with that surgery.
