I went in for tip surgery for a hooked nose and a nose that turns into a hooked shape when I smile. I chose the clinic after hearing that they preferred not to shave down the hump and only used ear cartilage. At other clinics, the consultations all suggested shaving the hump a little, plus osteotomy, plus correcting the crooked nose, and so on, but I only had a slight concern about my nose tip drooping, so this consultation was satisfying..! My idea of beauty matches my preference for a nose with some contour rather than a perfectly smooth one, since I think that looks more natural and pretty. Surgery is scheduled for next month.
