It wasn't recent, but a few years ago I went in for a revision consultation, and when the director asked where I had had the surgery and what the doctor's name was, I answered, and it turned out he was that doctor's senior by quite a bit. Suddenly he said the surgery wasn't botched, that my eyes were originally difficult eyes, and that considering that, it had gone very well lol. After that I asked whether this hospital was the problem or not, and he kept explaining in a scolding tone, as if asking what I knew, so I left in disbelief and tears.
