I had a double eyelid consultation 6 or 7 years ago and got the surgery done. They used local anesthesia and kept having me open my eyes to match the balance, stitching and reopening my eyes repeatedly until the surgery was finished. But about two weeks later, once the swelling had gone down somewhat and it seemed like the balance was off, I went in again for AS on one eye. A few months later, when I looked at photos or the mirror, I started seeing uneven eyes again, and when I tried to go back for another AS, I couldn't because of work and personal reasons, so I just kept living with it. The scars are also somewhat visible, and overall the hospital seems just average.
