Consultation review - As soon as I went in for the consultation, the doctor gave off the feeling of being very salesy and full of self-praise. (He says he only specializes in eyes, that many people who had bad surgery at other clinics come here for revision surgery, that he personally lives in a luxury apartment in Haeundae and has operated on the residents there (moms and daughters) and they were all satisfied, that he does surgery faster than anyone else, that he has his own technique, that he does it well without leaving scars, etc.) Unlike other clinics, I remember the doctor himself telling me the price too. He also said our clinic doesn't advertise and only gets patients through word of mouth, but aren't Naver blog and cafe ads still ads?ㅋㅋ Like in other reviews, the doctor is extremely confident. During the manager consultation too, I was told that unlike other clinics he doesn't cut tissue and uses his own anatomical surgical method, so swelling goes down quickly and the operation is the fastest. The sales skill was amazing, saying they provide AS for life! Post-op review - Right after surgery, what the doctor said left a strong impression on me. He asked me awkwardly, even though he looked at the surgery himself, whether it was done roughly enough that I wouldn't need a second surgery, right? - The advantages he mentioned during consultation (swelling goes down fast and no tissue excision) really feel like disadvantages now. If you consult 10 plastic surgery clinics, all 10 recommend incision, so why is this clinic the only one not recommending it? I don't know if it's because the doctor doesn't have incision skill and therefore doesn't recommend it, but I wouldn't recommend it. - More than 3 years later, my double eyelids have completely loosened, and the epicanthoplasty scar is very noticeable. Also, because the ptosis correction and fixation were done too strongly, my eyes don't fully close even when I try to close them. The double-eyelid line also wasn't done with an incision, so it's not neat and looks wrinkled. When I went back for another consultation, they said the epicanthoplasty scar would disappear with time and that the loosened double eyelids would need incision surgery anyway (if that was the case, they should have just done incision surgery from the start; I wasted money and time and spent years stressed over it). They ended the consultation by telling me that when they're not busy and have time, they'll do it, and that there was nothing more to do except lose some weight and wear makeup. - What's unusual about this clinic is that unlike other clinics, every time I visited after surgery they said they had to take photos and do a consultation, and even though I said I didn't want photos, they forced me to take them every time, which I really hated. It was so unpleasant that they were using the photos not for feedback during consultation, but to show other customers during consultations. They said they would do revision surgery, but I never want to go back. There are many other good clinics nearby, so I would recommend getting double-eyelid surgery done somewhere else.
