I was the classic lower-body obese type, with no fat on my upper body and all my life fat just piling up on my thighs, but one thigh liposuction solved my lifelong problem in one shot. I think it was the best surgery I ever had, and for 5 years now, my thighs really haven't gained any fat. But instead, since my upper body was originally the type that doesn't gain weight easily, it feels like all the fat that should have gone to my thighs is now going to my upper body. After the thigh liposuction, I ate like crazy and my upper arms and belly fat got insane. Unless you get full-body liposuction, I guess you have to diet for life
