Consultation for re-revision incisional eye surgery My eye diagnosis: eyes with thick double eyelids and sleepiness at the same time. Thick eyelids. The space between the eyes is narrow. It feels like I struggle when opening my eyes. Since I said I wanted to lower it, I was told I have to think that the double eyelid won't be visible if lowered. The double eyelid line feels like it suddenly cuts off in the middle (because of the skin thickness). Surgery method: incision + eye correction (scar removed) Wore a headband during the consultation. When I said I didn't care as long as it looked natural, they asked if that was really true, haha. What can be done now is almost only to go in the direction of loosening it. Lowering the double eyelids while still making the eyes look clearer is the best option. The sausage-like look will become somewhat more natural, and the tightly pinched mark will also be somewhat eased. Not everything can be completely removed. Don't expect a dramatic improvement. The scar can be made shallower by cutting out tissue and fixing it again, but it will still be somewhat visible. The double eyelid design won't change much, and I should think of it as lowering it. And when I asked about side effects, basically, the more times you have surgery, the higher the chance of side effects, and because tissue is cut out, the healing ability decreases. That said, there's no need to be too scared either. If the purpose is to ease things overall, the risk isn't that big. Doctor - Basically seemed pretty solid. Because of the skin thickness, even with revision surgery there are limits, and they told me not to have unrealistic expectations.
