I'm a newcomer in Chungju these days, with some free time, and I've become interested in plastic surgery. Chungju is a small city, so when it comes to plastic surgery clinics, I still think of Kim Do-hyun Plastic Surgery Clinic. For my first-ever double eyelid surgery, I followed an older sister I know and had it done at another small clinic in Chungju, Kim Nam-yeol Clinic. It's been 10 days so far, but for some reason I feel uneasy not about the progress, but starting from my feelings. The doctor who performed the surgery was kind, but the woman who does the consultations or whatever that manager position is called was just so rude I can't even begin to describe it. From the very first time I asked for directions, I asked for an exact address I could navigate to by car, and she got annoyed, cut me off in the middle of speaking, and said she'd just send it by text and that I should find it myself. Even so, I held it in and went there. When I said I was going to do incisional double eyelid surgery, her attitude changed right away and she pretended to be kind, and I ended up getting the surgery. After the surgery, on the day I got my stitches removed, if a regular person, especially someone new to plastic surgery, asked about things like lower eyelid fat repositioning or lower blepharoplasty, they should at least explain in a way that's easy to understand. But she absolutely hated even listening to the other person's words, and after two sentences she would frown and just say I needed lower blepharoplasty no matter what. When I said I was scared of knives and asked about methods that don't use a knife if possible, she shouted at me to get out (literally, she went off on me), and I was so dumbfounded I couldn't even speak. If older people came to consult about surgery, after they left she would also talk loudly behind their backs, saying things like that old lady is 80 years old and can barely hear, and still wants plastic surgery... Honestly, putting such a woman in the position of a manager, even if there are no people available, is just wrong. She seems like the kind of person who would drive away customers. People in Chungju, please think again about Kim Nam-yeol Clinic and proceed with your consultation and surgery. I'm saying this as someone who has experienced it. On the other hand, from the people at the counter to the consultation manager at Choi Do-hyun Hospital, even when I asked about things I didn't know, they explained step by step what procedures would suit my face. Compared with Kim Nam-yeol Clinic, the difference was so striking that, although it's not really fair to compare them, I was shocked by the behavior of the plastic surgery clinic in this small city.
