I consulted directly with the doctor without a consultation manager. The doctor looked at my eyes and said I had a lot of fat, a lot of sagging skin, and thick skin. So he recommended full-incision surgery, ptosis correction, and epicanthoplasty. When I said I didn't want epicanthoplasty, he said my eyes were relatively far apart. But since this was the first place I consulted, I just thought that was how it was, but after consulting at three other hospitals, it was very different. While results can differ by hospital, the other three all consistently said I had rather little fat, that my skin was a little saggy, and that it wasn't thin skin but not particularly thick either. Also, some places recommended epicanthoplasty, but said it wasn't necessary and that it was fine not to do it, while one place even said it would be better not to do it because too much of the caruncle might show. (For reference, the distance between my eyes is 3.5 cm.) I was referred by someone I know, so I had trust in it, but because the consultation results were so different from the other hospitals, personally it wasn't a place I felt drawn to.
