A review after more than 10 years. At the time of surgery, I had eye and nose surgery at the same time. My eyes looked uneven, but I brushed it off at first thinking it was because of the swelling. For months it kept looking uneven (one eye turned upward), so I asked about it, but the answer I got was nonsense like it was because of eyeliner tattooing. If that was really the reason, shouldn’t they have warned me before surgery? And then they said things like I’d thank them in 10 years, or that the line would gradually come down. It’s been over 10 years and it has improved a little, but it’s still turned upward. I’m considering reoperation. I also had a nose done here without knowing anything, and I ended up having two revision nose surgeries here. At first it made my nose upturned, and now I’m just living with it crooked. What made me the angriest about the doctors’ attitude back then was that when the surgery failed, they only said irresponsible nonsense like that was how my original face was. That was the most infuriating part. Back then it was a big hospital that dealt with a lot of Chinese patients, and I learned that hospitals like that are best avoided.
