I had epicanthoplasty and double eyelid surgery in 2011-2012. The swelling in my eyes, like sausage lids, didn't go down for over 3 months, and anyone could tell they had excessively set the line in a wide-outlined style without removing the fat from the eyelids, so it was a failure. The epicanthoplasty also failed, and the Mongolian fold is still there. A few months after the surgery, I went back and asked for correction because I thought the surgery had gone wrong. In the end, they redid the surgery, but they set the line all the way past the outer corner of the eye, making it really hard to look at. When I went a second time and strongly complained, the staff coldly pushed me off and told me to talk to the hospital's PR/marketing department? Even now, almost 10 years later, if I still have sausage eyes, that's definitely not swelling, right? I'm looking into revision surgery.
