I had double eyelid surgery on my eyes when I was in middle school, 10 years ago. I wanted an outer-line crease, but the doctor said my eyes shouldn't have an outer-line crease, so I had an inner-out line instead. It was done with an incision, and the swelling lasted quite a long time, but after about 2 to 3 years it settled in naturally. Since it was an incision, the double eyelid line was pretty thick at the time, so it looked very obviously operated on, but now it really looks like my original eyes, just nicely defined and pretty. I have no intention of getting eye revision surgery, and I'm satisfied.
