I got my first egg injection in May last year, and then two more every four months after that, for a total of three egg injections! It was the first cosmetic procedure of my life, so at the time I just thought, I guess that’s how it is, but looking back now after also visiting other plastic surgery clinics for consultations, I think the doctor was actually quite kind. When I asked about side effects, they explained things to me fairly step by step. They did the procedure right away on the day of my first consultation, and after the nurse applied the numbing cream at first, they let me wait in a separate room instead of in a waiting room with all the other patients, which I liked. In the end, my lower face really became much slimmer, so I was satisfied. They also show before-and-after photos if you ask, and the difference was very clear. The reason I’m not doing it now, though, is that I got a little scared by hearing that getting a lot of contour injections can thin the skin and make it sag, and I have somewhat prominent cheekbones, so once my lower face became slimmer, my side cheekbones started to look more pronounced relatively. So for now I’m taking a break and watching how things go!
