I looked into ptosis correction because of droopy eyelids, and I had surgery after only checking the clinic’s website without knowing any better. I already had dry eye syndrome, but because of the lacrimal caruncle exposure, the stinging got much worse. Right after surgery, I also had overcorrection and exposure keratopathy. More than 10 years later, it has settled down, and from the outside it doesn’t look like a total disaster, but the canthoplasty feels unnatural, so now I’m looking into canthoplasty revision.
