I booked the surgery right after the consultation! First, I went after reading the doctor’s blog, and I was honestly surprised because the consultation was exactly like the blog: professional and so kind..!! To briefly summarize the three reasons I decided on surgery: 1. I can’t stand having a blood drain bag 2. I loved other people’s before-and-after photos 3. The doctor’s sutures are always neat and preserve the hair follicles + They also said I didn’t need to do things I didn’t need, and the aesthetic sense is beautiful From here it gets a bit long When I went, one or two people were looking at their post-op progress, and there wasn’t much waiting, but it took a while to get a consultation appointment. I think I waited about a month. When I got there, there was not even a hint of a chaotic market or factory-like feeling, just a small and lovely place where one doctor seemed to do everything. I have no contouring experience, and at other hospitals they said my face was not suitable for contouring because of the nerve line and bone structure, plus I have a lot of facial fat and thin skin, so I hated how my skin stretched and sagged. I started getting lifting treatments almost as soon as I turned twenty and kept it up faithfully for about 10 years!!!ㅠㅠㅠ I spent the equivalent of a car at dermatology clinics, but honestly, it had zero effect. InMode, Double, Vro, Tensera, Airjet, Tune Face, Shurink, Shurink Universe, Ulthera, Oligio, thread lifting, facial liposuction, and really every lifting procedure I could have done in my life except Thermage.^^^^^^^ But after doing that stuff for 10 years, at some point there was no effect anymore, and I could feel the skin on my jaw getting thinner and sagging more and more, so I turned to surgery. (Just do skin boosters at dermatology clinics^^...you get that thin, glossy skin look that people who do a lot of skin procedures haveㅠㅠㅠ) And dermatology clinics can remove fat, but they can’t remove skin, right? Even liposuction doesn’t solve that. So as the surface got thinner and came down more and more, people who do a lot of procedures will know exactly what I mean...And when I tilt my head down, the jaw skin flops aroundㅎㅎ so depressing Anyway, beyond the consultation professionalism and kindness, they show you videos of other people’s before-and-after results, and it was so dramatic that even accounting for the cost I wanted it so badly that I put down the reservation fee immediately. They show you real photos and videos, not overedited ones. The effect was insanely good and I was shocked... I really felt that a lift is king when it comes to results. And I saw the sutures in the photos, and after 2 weeks the scars were almost invisible, so I decided to have the surgery like I was under a spell For reference, people with a lot of fat keep thinking if they just pull the skin upward then lifting should be enough, but even if you do dermatology procedures or thread lifts a hundred times, in your dreams it won’t turn out like that, no matter how many top doctors’ hospitals you visit..ㅠㅠ It’s really a skin issue, so you just have to get a lift Both the manager and the doctor did not push anything at all, and since there was no same-day booking discount, there was absolutely no pressure to book! If you’re worried about the consultation, go look at that doctor’s Naver blog first and it’s exactly that kind of vibe! Not overly salesy or too kind, but among the doctors I’ve consulted, they’re in the top 2 for professionalism and gentleness.
