I had gynecomastia surgery around June 2020. I don’t remember the price well, but I think it was around two to three million won, and since it was covered by insurance, I got reimbursed. Even though I kept exercising, my chest was still lumpy and it was hard. They understood this kind of case well, empathized with me, and even helped with the insurance process, so I was able to have the surgery easily and at a low cost. And everyone there was male, so it was comfortable (which makes sense for a male clinic, but still). However, after the surgery the shape didn’t settle well, so I had revision surgery once or twice. They removed fat from my chest and put something in so the skin wouldn’t cave in there, but it didn’t settle properly and clumped together. So after local anesthesia they cut into the lump with a knife to break it up again and watched to see it settle... There aren’t many gynecomastia clinics for men, so I couldn’t shop around much. There may be better hospitals. But personally, they kept paying attention to me until the end, and I’m very satisfied now, so I think it’s a hospital worth considering.
