This place is unusual in that the director is above the clinic manager. Normally it’s manager > director > manager, but here it was the other way around. The director seemed angry, probably because the previous person had upset her, but there was no need to take it out on me, either.. For basic questions, she answered with a somewhat obvious attitude, but when I asked questions that looked like I had thought them through, she answered sincerely and her expression softened. The manager said she has worked here for 15 years. She has a sharp eye and speaks well, but she feels like a neighborhood real-estate agent auntie. She shares a lot of information that helps you understand the clinic’s style, so I think it’s good to ask the manager about various things. The consultation fee was 5,000 won, and in the evening after I got off work there was only one other person waiting besides me. The surgery fee doesn’t get discounted no matter what, and it’s almost fixed-price, which made me trust it a bit more.
