When I consulted with the doctor, they said my skin was thin and the freckles were spread out, so the chance of hyperpigmentation was about 2 out of 10, and told me to think carefully before getting it done. I struggled with freckles all my life, so I decided to go ahead. Unlike my worries, there was almost no hyperpigmentation and it was removed pretty cleanly. I used to be covered in freckles, but now they are barely visible even when I put on makeup. It's been about 2 years, and I think a few are starting to come back, so I want to get it done again later.
