I looked around here and there for double eyelid surgery. There were so many hospitals that were said to be good at double eyelid surgery, but there was also too much information about side effects, botched lines, and so on. I was exhausted from searching and searching, and in the end I decided to get double eyelid surgery at J Clinic, where I had been going regularly for Botox. I wanted to do a non-incisional procedure, but considering my skin and the fat above my eyes, they clearly explained that an incisional method would be more appropriate, and also explained in detail how the line would be made. I thought the price was a little higher than expected, but I just decided to go ahead. It was done under local anesthesia, and during the surgery the eyelids, of course, didn't hurt at all, but the back of my head was pressed and hurt a lot. They explained this in advance, and when I said it hurt, they let me raise my head and rest, so I was grateful. For about an hour after surgery, the anesthesia was still working so it didn't hurt, but after an hour there was some pain, though it was manageable with an ice pack. It's been about 3 years since the surgery now, and the line was made beautifully and I'm satisfied with the result, but my eyes are just a tiny bit asymmetrical. They said the A/S period was 1 year and that they would do it again if I wanted, but because I didn't want to go through the pain, I decided not to have revision surgery.
