I went to get a consultation for revision eye surgery. Same-day booking was possible, so I rushed over after work, all excited. After the doctor consultation, the coordinator consultation followed. The doctor was kind, but.. maybe I should say he was firm..? It felt like he was talking to me as if I were a little kid..?(I'm in my 30s) He said it would be better than now, but that something bad would come with it. When I hear things like that, I think, why would I bother going through surgery with all the time, money, effort, and emotional stress? Well, saying it that way might actually make him a real doctor... But my excitement about the consultation cooled off quite a bit I will go to consult elsewhere, but I don't think I'll bother having it done here.
