For over 20 years, I’ve been suffering because a botched surgery at age 19 was the starting point. I decided on my own and went to a clinic when I was 19 and knew nothing, and I never imagined it would ruin and eat away at my life like this... The left side was more or less okay, but the right side was created above the previous inner double-eyelid line, so it became a double line. Back then I was so foolish that I didn’t even know it had been ruined. The doctor got irritated and clicked his tongue because I cried throughout the surgery. The anesthesia didn’t work properly, so it hurt so much I wanted to pass out. When I had revision surgery, I realized the anesthesia hadn’t been properly done back then. If I had been a little older when deciding on surgery, I would have sued and gotten back the surgery fee and the revision fee too. I resent myself for making such a hasty decision just because I wanted double eyelids so badly when I was young.
