The doctor seemed to be somewhat older. As soon as I sat down, he showed me materials he had presented at an academic conference, which caught me off guard..! He explained things kindly, but(?) it felt like he wanted to show me something rather than answer what I was asking about. He recommended osteotomy + septum/ear cartilage + Silicomb surgery, and even recommended osteotomy, which other hospitals had not recommended, so I felt that he probably does not take a very conservative approach to surgery. I prefer a doctor with a safety-first approach, so I don’t think he was a good match for me. He also recommended treatment, but I didn’t really think I needed surgery for rhinitis or treatment like that in my life... so I’m just going to choose a place that does it only for cosmetic purposes!
