I had eye surgery 5 years ago with buried stitches, and it was done naturally. Unless I tell people in advance, they usually do not realize I had double eyelid surgery. As time passed, the line gradually became lower, so the double eyelid ended up settling a little above the original inner fold I already had! I wanted natural-looking double eyelids, so as long as they don’t come undone, I don’t think that’s a drawback. If you want something natural, I recommend buried-stitch surgery.
