I had septal cartilage + ear cartilage + fascia for my nose surgery half a year ago, and I’m so satisfied. I thought the consultation with the doctor was friendly, but he has a strong pride in his expertise, so depending on the patient’s personality, you might feel he is a bit unfriendly. I personally liked that because it felt trustworthy!! Most things you’d want to know are written on his blog, so I recommend reading that first ㅎㅎ There is absolutely no pressure, and he explains everything in detail no matter what you ask! While I was at it, I asked whether I should get chin filler too, and he firmly advised against it. He explained why it wouldn’t suit me, and I was convinced, so I still have no plans for chin filler ㅋㅋㅋ He strongly pursues safety and natural beauty. In my case, I’m satisfied with the natural, comfortable result, so people who want a dramatic nose might feel frustrated or dissatisfied! The nurse also handles consultations. She is kind. But since there are often only the doctor and one nurse at the clinic, they seem busy... Let’s make sure we arrive at our appointment time. It seems they have no interest at all in promotion or marketing... They just tell you the regular price, without review discounts or anything like that, and I actually found that more trustworthy and better. It was a bit expensive, though. The clinic itself wasn’t large and had a homey atmosphere. The operating room was clean, but my mother, who only stayed in the lobby, said she got extremely worried after seeing it... ㅋㅋ They also play whatever music you want during surgery. I listened to aespa songs. A supernova for a surgery they did really well. They used 10 minutes of sleep anesthesia, followed by local anesthesia. But since I was taking the sleep anesthesia anyway, I fell into a deep sleep and woke up when the surgery was over. lol I’m the one who slept with my eyes open and even snored. Even with my nose open, I still snored... Amazing. During the surgery I briefly woke up, and in my sleepiness I could feel them taking out the ear cartilage. Because of the anesthesia it felt like a massage, so I remember falling asleep again right away. It doesn’t hurt at all, so don’t be scared that you’ll have to stay awake under local anesthesia and undergo surgery~ My case was just a slight tip lift with a bit of fascia placed on the bridge as a side bonus, so the swelling wasn’t severe even right after surgery. I visited over the two weeks after surgery, and it was only a little uncomfortable during the first week while my nose was blocked, but it was manageable. When I visited, the nurse handled the treatment, and sometimes the doctor would come by and say, “Mm~ looks good~ there were no problems, right??” and then leave ㅎㅎ After the splint came off, until the one-month point I did everything they told me not to do, like picking my nose, blowing my nose, and squeezing sebum, but there were no problems. Even now, half a year later, I haven’t had a nosebleed even once~ The side hump I was worried about is gone, and they had already told me in advance that the front view wouldn’t change much. I also didn’t want the front view to change, so I was very satisfied. In fact, around the 6-month mark, I felt the front view had also become a little more refined! It’s not a dramatic change, but it became cleaner, so I’m very satisfied ㅎㅎ I think it takes about 4 to 5 months before the nose gets a little softer. Right now it bends this way and that and feels like my own nose! There is absolutely no scar tissue inside the nose, and although there is a little scar left on the columella, it’s not a bulge or a depression, just pigmentation scarring, so I think it will fade with time. Actually, even now it’s barely noticeable, so when I remember it, I just put scar ointment on it~ <Overall> I was someone who strongly preferred the most natural result and wanted to keep the hump. Out of five clinics I visited, this was the only one that agreed with keeping the hump, so I had the surgery here and I’m satisfied. Personally, I think you’ll be satisfied if you definitely read the blog before going. I had already read the blog and thought, this is the one, so I went with the mindset that this is the hospital I chose, this is the surgery I chose, and even if complications happen, it’s my fate. I’m living normally, but that doesn’t mean other people definitely won’t have complications, so please think it through carefully, and if you want it enough to accept the risk, then go ahead and do it~
