It’s been 8 years since the surgery, so it’s a bit old, but I’m writing about it. After the surgery, I said I could see something white inside my nostril, and they told me not to worry because it was dissolvable thread. So I believed them, and about two months passed, but even though enough time had gone by for everything to heal, white thread-like stuff and pus kept coming out. When I pulled on it, it hurt terribly and felt like my nose was going to come apart. When I looked at what I’d pulled out, it felt more like gauze or cotton than thread. I contacted them again and went back to the hospital, and they immediately said I needed removal surgery... I asked whether they had put cotton in and stitched over it, but they didn’t answer properly. I was out of it from the anesthesia, so I couldn’t ask any more and went home. I also had nostril reduction, but it didn’t get any smaller at all. It’s no different from before.
